I used ancient and historic sacred /religious architecture as a focus for my travels and photography in Britain, but included many other aspects of the landscape, its history, and mythology to experience and document. I was passionate about my explorations of the landscape. I felt connected and plugged in to that “unseen hand” every moment.
I love the Arthurian myths and legends of Great Britain. Undoubtedly, my inspiration for this project. Many of us certainly resonate with “The Mists of Avalon” and other tales told of the times during legendary Arthur’s reign. The veils between worlds were indeed very thin as I travelled about this land of mystery. I have a particularly large collection of images of Stonehenge, Avebury and Glastonbury and will scan over time. I would never take a trip to England and not go to those three places.
